Mahefa Ratsimbason, MD

Dr. Harimahefa Ratsimbason joined the Great Bend Children’s Clinic in 2015, with previous experience working in Academic Pediatric hospital medicine for two years.  She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Andrews University in Michigan, and then received her M.D. from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California.  She completed her internship and pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in California.  Dr. Ratsimbason is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2012 in general pediatrics.  She speaks three languages, English, Spanish, and French.  She is a native of Madagascar and is married with two boys.  In her spare time she enjoys traveling, especially going on road trips, listening to a wide variety of music, trying various international foods, outdoor activities, fitness classes, and most of all having endless conversations with her two very busy boys.  Dr. Ratsimbason believes in whole patient care, emphasizing the social and spiritual aspects of the patient and family, as well as their physical needs.  She strives to provide excellent and compassionate patient care and aspires to bring a smile to every child’s face.
